    Update on campus incident

A message from Lesley Cormack, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UBC Okanagan Dear campus community, I want to update you on an incident that took place on our campus over the weekend. One of our security personnel was assaulted by a worker in the University Centre building. We were informed that the guard succumbed to her injuries. To protect her privacy and that of her family, we are not identifying her at this time. This is the kind of communication with our community that I hoped never to have to deliver.

Learn about the updated Nsyilxcn street signs at UBC Okanagan

Nsyilxcn translations of the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus streets were first added to the existing campus street signs in March of 2010. The design of the translations closely resembled the conventional UBC street signs with classic white lettering on a blue background.
